Yamaha Releases Free Smartphone App, the Power Tuner

Yamaha has announced their latest Power Tuner Smartphone app, which puts the “flexibility and precision tunability of the Power Tuner into your smartphone.”
Available on both iOS and Google PlayStore, this app comes completely free. It features a myriad of uses, so check out the video below for more information!
As stated by the company, mapping provides options for fuel injection and ignition timings, with adjustments for throttle opening and engine rpm. The race log function allows the rider to record an archive of information such as weather and track conditions during race or practice sessions, or machine set up details.
There will also be a monitor function that shows real-time information about the machine connected. Last but not least, there is a maintenance guide for the rider to understand and manage their maintenance status of their bikes.
Yamaha advises that motorcyclists only use the app when their vehicles are stopped in a safe location, and it is not guaranteed that the accuracy, sensitivity, operation, and numbers displayed on the app will be completely accurate.
To use the app, the rider will also need to have an Internet connection - either via wireless LAN or mobile data communication.
