Dear Drivers, Here’s How You Can Help Keep Motorcyclists Safe On The Road
We are all, if encased in leather jackets and protective gear, Ryan Reynolds. And who would want to be the person who killed Ryan Reynolds (a.k.a Deadpool, a.k.a Sexiest Man Alive of 2010)? Nobody. Not only will you be skinned alive on the Internet, but you will also have to face the bloody wrath of his lovely wife, Blake Lively.

At least, that’s what we understood from Tobacco Motorwear’s interesting Public Service Announcement (PSA). The Los Angeles-based motorcycle apparel manufacturer has put together a number of local motorcyclists to talk about a serious issue in a humorous manner, which, in our opinion, has more impact on convertible-driving, risky Snapchatting-on-the-wheel, callous manner of most of the drivers out on the roads today.
Peep the video here:
Motorcyclists are about 26 times more likely to die in a crash than someone riding in a passenger car, and are 5 times as likely to be injured because they are less visible to drivers due to the two-wheeled vehicles naturally smaller profile and are more physically exposed to the environment.
It has been found that in two-thirds of motorcycle accidents involving another vehicle, the driver of the other vehicle violated the motorcycle rider's right of way and caused the accident.
We hope everyone does their part to lessen road accidents by being more aware of their surroundings and not taking the luxury of being in air-conditioned steel-tubed convertibles. Let us #RideMoreWreckless.
