Yet another bike has been revealed at the EICMA motorcycle show – the café racer Suzuki SV650X.

The SV650X is based on the previously released SV650, powered by a similar 645cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine which is located in a lightweight trellis frame. Specification wise, the bike pumps out 75hp @ 8,500rpm and 64Nm @ 8,100rpm of torque. The capacity of the newly-shaped fuel tank has been increased to 14.5L, with a SUZUKI logo is emblazoned on it. It was originally the signature “S” mark.

Aesthetically, SV650X has received some modifications, including a slotted headlight cowl, a streamlined ‘tuck-and-roll’ seat, and clip-on handlebars, for that sporty riding position riders may desire. Optional fog lamps can be attached under the headlights. The rider and pillion footrests are also coated in a shade of black paint.

The front forks are now preload adjustable, and this feature will also be implemented in the standard SV650 next year. The bike rides on Dunlop Roadsmart III tyres, which exhibits superb performance even in inclement weather.

The bike is available in only one colour scheme – silver and black with a tinge of red. The bike is planned to be launched predominantly in Europe next year. Pricing and availability in Singapore are still unknown.
